Our Client is looking for a focused and detail-oriented research assistant to aid their research project, summarising results, analysing data, and Researching the project. The project is agricultural-based and deep knowledge in agriculture or related fields is important to be able to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:

Conducting research and summarising findings.
Responding to emails relating to research.
Attending project meetings.
Preparing progress reports.
Analysing Data
Assist with the development of data collection and entry tools
Clean and prepare datasets for analysis
Support researchers in data analysis
Draft write-up of results (academic papers, policy briefs, presentations, etc.)
Provide regular update reports to Principal Investigators and other research staff
Other duties to support research activities, as needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in economics, agricultural economics, public policy, international relations, or a related discipline with impressive grades.
Excellent skills in statistics software
Knowledge of Excel, R, and Python is an added advantage
Background in randomised field experiments a plus, but not required
Familiarity with development economics and/or data science research preferred
Excellent writing skills
Strong organizational skills
Highly flexible and adaptable
Works well with others, especially with individuals across cultures and contexts
