Job Summary

The role of the Finance Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, leveraging financial expertise to drive business performance, inform decision-making, and create long-term value for the organization.

Scope of work

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

Collaborating with business units to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights on variances to budget/forecast.

2. Decision Support:

Providing financial analysis and advice on business decisions, such as investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.

Assessing the financial implications of various scenarios and recommending the most viable options.

3. Performance Management:

Working with business stakeholders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance targets. Monitoring performance against these targets, identifying areas of concern, and recommending corrective actions to drive performance
improvement.

4. Financial Reporting:

Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports and management information to business entities and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). These reports may include financial statements, monthly/quarterly business reviews, profitability analysis, and variance analysis.

5. Strategic Planning:

Participating in the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and analysis. Collaborating with business leaders to develop long-term financial strategies and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives.

6. Business Partnership:

Building effective working relationships with business unit heads and acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters. Proactively engaging with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and provide relevant financial support and guidance.

7. Risk Management:

Identifying and assessing financial risks within the business entities and developing mitigation strategies. Collaborating with senior leadership teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.

8. Capital Raise & Investment Funding Financial Modelling:

Preparation, documentation and collation of financial models specific to capital raise and funding initiatives required to drive the strategic business plans and goals of BOSS Global HoldCo.

9. Business Case Analysis:

Evaluating investment proposals and new business opportunities by conducting financial feasibility studies, assessing financial viability, estimating return on investment (ROI), and preparing business case reports.

10. Continuous Improvement:

Identifying opportunities for process improvement and streamlining financial processes and systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, and automation solutions, and enhance overall finance effectiveness.

11. Stakeholder Communication:

Effectively communicating complex financial concepts and insights to non-financial stakeholders, translating financial information into practical business terms. Presenting financial information clearly and concisely to inform decision-making.

The Finance Business Partner works with business units to develop and deliver accurate and timely financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. These deliverables outline the financial goals and targets for the organization and provide a roadmap for financial management.

The Finance Business Partner conducts in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis, to provide insights into the financial performance of the organization. These deliverables help stakeholders understand the key drivers of financial results and make informed decisions.

3. Financial Reports and Management Information:

The Finance Business Partner prepares and presents financial reports and management information to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and business unit leaders. These deliverables provide a snapshot of the financial health of the organization and help drive decision-making.

4. Business Case Analysis:

The Finance Business Partner evaluates investment proposals and new business opportunities by conducting financial feasibility studies, estimating return on investment, and preparing business case reports. These deliverables help stakeholders assess the financial viability of potential projects and make investment decisions.

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
