Niteon Capital began operations in 2017 as a private partnership business, purchasing and selling natural resources such as gold, uncut diamonds, leather, cocoa, seeds, and precious stones from miners, manufacturers, and farmers with the aim of exporting them continentally. This was done in order to provide African products to the right buyers; however, by 2020 the African market still imported 70% of its consumption and exported less than 20%.
