Inqaba Biotec opened its door for business in South Africa in 2002 as a synthetic DNA (oligonucleotides)
production company, the first on the African continent. As a key player in the life science research market, the company rapidly grew it’s portfolio to include key products and services required by research scientists towards conductive world class genomics research.

gene analysis to the supply of instruments, reagents and consumables required for genomics research.
The company is also a key player in the diagnostics market where they offer DNA based diagnostics
solutions which harness the power of the DNA towards detecting infectious pathogens and genetic
disorders.
