Silver Allyance BJJ - Lagos

Silver Allyance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu(SABJJ) is a Nigerian based Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy. SABJJ is a registered member of the Gracie Alavanca Team Jiu Jitsu- a global network of jiu-jitsu academies, an Affiliate of BJJ Globetrotters based in the United States and a member of the Global International Martial Arts Federation (GIMAF).

SABJJ upholds the gracie combatives certification curriculum as well as the No-gi techniques established by Eddie Bravo of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system.

Since the early 90s, several members of the Gracie family from Brazil have dedicated their lives to the propagation of the Jiu-jitsu system defeating every martial artists from other disciplines in a No- rules combat. thereby making jiu-jitsu the globally recognized ultimate form of combat in a real no rules engagement.

Jiu Jitsu has become a compulsory training regimen for all united states marine corps, airforce and navy seals.
Jiu Jitsu is based on leverage (alavanca). It empowers a much weaker person to defeat a bigger, taller and stronger opponent by leveraging on joint locks and submission techniques. The system acknowledges that about 90% of all street fights go to the ground. Hence, to survive from assault and rape in the case of a woman, one needs jiu-jitsu survival ground techniques to emerge unhurt.

At SABJJ, we continue the trend and empower students with this unique self defense system.

SABJJ presently offers 4 programs.

1. Adult Defense Program (ADP).

2. Kids Bullyproof program(KBP)

3. Women Empowerment Program(WEP). Designed to mitigate against sexual assault and rape.

4. SABJJ Combative Program (SCP) – For Nigerian Legion Law Enforcement Officers and other Millitary/paramilitary personnels.

Our Program is designed in 3 levels, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level is divided into 3 terms of three months each.
