About the product
The term "dry ice" refers to carbon dioxide in its solid state (CO₂ (s)). Since CO2 sublimes immediately from the solid state to the gas state at normal atmospheric pressure, it is frequently employed for short-term refrigeration. Although its main application is as a cooling agent, it is also utilized in theater fog machines to create dramatic effects. Its benefits include being less hot than water ice and leaving no trace—aside from the occasional frost caused by atmospheric moisture.
