BARGE SHIP SUPERVISION
The Physical Specific Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of barge cleaning work, including prepare-check equipment, enter and exit barges, use cleaning equipment.
Utilize hand tools such as pressure washers or brushers to effectively clean the barges. Utilize proper PPE while cleaning barges.
Climbing ladders and stairs, repetitive bending and stooping, lifting heavy marine equipment, and lifting objects from various levels ranging from 10-100 pounds.
Ability to lift from 75 Ibs -5000 Ibs on daily basis.
Pumping barges, cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of office and dock.
Assist in loading or unloading materials and supplies to and from docks, barges and boats.
Prepare and supervise rig move plans, anchor patterns, and associated mobilization preparations.
Perform the various tasks necessary to carry out the above, such as making a coupling, operating winches and ratchets, and handling splicing and throwing lines.
Repair flame screen, clean P/V valves, and grease winches, in accordance with the barge checklist distributed by the Barge Maintenance. And responsible for other equipment maintenance as needed.
Clean or sough the boat; clean quarters; clean the wheelhouse and galley; clean the head and companionways, and cook when needed.
