UV Varnish is a clear fluid that polymerizes to film form overprint after passing through UV (Ultra Violet) light. It has various application methods like silk screen, sheet offset, flexo, gravure and many more. We have two types of varnishing processes; spot and flood. We have both in stock.
Spot UV varnish is a process where selected areas of a print design are highlighted with varnish to enhance or create a sense of contrast. Because it gives optimal appearance, screen silk process is mostly used for this, Our brands are made in EU and the UK.
The other process is called flood /surface varnish, in which the total surface of the printed item is coated. The viscosity of the varnish deposit is usually very light. The commonest applications are roller coaters, sheet offsets and flexo chrome rollers.
