It's a story about a young man, whose father who uses to swarm in an ocean of wealth, suddenly found himself in the pit of hell, when he loses all his wealth to a group of fraudsters. He tries to commit suicide after learning the bitter truth regarding his downfall. He learns that his childhood friend, whom he took in as his personal lawyer was the one behind the conspiracy. He was advice not to go to the court, as there was no evidence to prove that he is guilty. He took the advice, and watched his family suffers greatly for many years. Sylvester was the only son. He is an ambitious young man, whose only goal in life was to make money. As soon as he finishes his secondary school, he decided to go to Lagos to look for every possible means to make money.
