Techny is a dwarf cultivar of the American Arborvitae. It grows in an upright, conical to pyramidal form. It is more compact than the species. Its rich, green foliage holds its color well through the winter. Needles grow in flat, fan shaped clusters.Good winter interest. Excellent specimen or accent tree. Plant in mass for a dense hedge or screen.
