Intercom

About the product
Intercom – PoE – PABX System

An intercom (intercommunication device), talkback or doorphone is a stand-alone voice communications system for use within a building or small collection of buildings, functioning independently of the public telephone network. Intercoms are generally mounted permanently in buildings and vehicles.

Existing IT resources can be used without the need for an additional network. The network cable also provides power to the IP intercom system via PoE. Alternatively to a cable connection, intercoms may be operated over WLAN. In that case, obviously no network cable is required but consequently a separate power connection.

IP phone systems: Intercoms are self-contained and therefore operate free of the public phone system.
