T Forms have been designed to provide the quickest means of constructing one - way spanning ‘trough’ floors. This type of floors can weigh up to 60% less than a solid slab of t he same depth and is particularly economical for medium and long spans.
‘T’ Forms are available in four depths and normally produce 125mm wide ribs at 600mm centers. The forms are designed to overlap, enabling troughs of the required length to be achieved. Stiffening ribs on the inner face greatly reduce the deformation of the forms under pressure of concrete. A removable diaphragm is also available to provide additional stiffness where high concrete pressures are involved.
Manufactured from lightweight, injection moulded polypropylene, the ‘T” forms are shaped for easy withdrawal.
