ReStore (pronounced as Real Store) is an inventory application system that is aimed at both SME and big networked outlets. It is developed with Java and built on Apache Derby.
ReStore is a multi-user application and can handle concurrently more than one customers. Products can be dynamically identified by bar code scanners or simply by searching for the name of the stock. And has tables whose data can be printed using POS printers.
ReStore has six modules; Stock, Sales, Sales Record, Transaction, Audit Trail and User modules. Each of these modules has sub modules which like the main menu are easy to understand and use. The modules are connected to the database in ways comprehensible by the users. Users with no ICT expertise would find it easy the same as experts.
