Training is in three levels:
1) Basic:
Introduction to IBM SPSS Statistics (V20); Data Processing and Presentation with IBM SPSS custom tables; Introduction to statistical analysis using IBM SPSS (V20).
Duration: 5 days or spread over four weeks
Requirements: Experience using word processors and spreadsheet. No statistical background is required. No previous knowledge of SPSS except basic understanding of the software’s purpose and functions is helpful.
2) Intermediate:
Data Management and Manipulation with IBM SPSS Statistics (V20); Survey Analysis; Advanced statistical methods.
Duration: 5 days or spread over four weeks.
Requirements: General computer literacy and must have completed the Introduction to IBM-SPSS Statistics Course or prior experience with SPSS. No statistical background is required.
3) Advanced:
Advanced Techniques: ANOVA; Advanced Techniques: Regression; Time Series analysis and forecasting with IBM SPSS Forecasting; Principal Component Analysis.
Duration: 5 days or spread over four weeks.
Requirements: On the job statistical experience or completion of the Introduction to Statistical Analysis Using IBM SPSS Statistics course and/or Intermediate-level Statistics Oriented courses; Knowledge of basic statistics, including linear regression.
