What is Rent-a-PA?
Rent-a-PA is a simple and affordable solution that provides temporary or long-term Personal Assistants to time-constrained individuals and businesses when they need help.

How does it work?
Rent-a-PA is very easy. (1) Simply call the office on 08139905488 or send an E-mail to hartng@gmail.com to book a PA (2) List the tasks that you would like the PA to complete and the time frame for the task. Blocks of time are available in 2, 4, 6, 8,10 or 24 hour windows. If you are not certain how much time your tasks will take, just shoot us an email and we’ll help you select a time block that is appropriate. (3) Let us know where the PA is to meet you and we’ll do the rest. Our team will contact you to confirm

How much does Rent-a-PA cost?
It’s our goal to provide an affordable solution to our clients which is why we have two convenient service options: Clients can obtain a Personal Assistant from us for N2,000 an hour with a N5,000 initial two hour minimum non-refundable deposit for everyday tasks like grocery shopping, dog walking, and office administration. Clients can also contact us to obtain a rate for help with more in-depth projects.

When are PAs normally available for booking?
For your convenience, our PAs are available between 8AM and 6PM seven days a week. Need a PA for time outside of our standard business hours? After hour rates are available.

Where do your PA’s operate?
Our PAs will work anywhere within Abuja to help you with your tasks. If you have to travel outside Abuja with our PAs you will notify the office and you will be required to provide accommodation for the PA and a flat-rate of N10,000 per day as outstation allowance.

What types of things can I have my PA assist me with?
Our Personal Assistants are here to make your life easier. PAs can assist with small tasks such as picking up groceries, dropping off dry cleaning or waiting for the repairman, as well as larger tasks like office administration and even unique tasks like standing in the queue for you, walking your dog or helping you paint your bathroom. As long as the tasks are listed in your reservation (and are not prohibited) we’ll work to match you with a PA to get the job done.

Are there any types of tasks PAs can’t assist me with?
PAs cannot (and will not) assist with any tasks that are illegal, illicit or questionable. Besides that we are here to help. If there is a task that we absolutely do not have the skillset to complete (and this is rare) we’ll let you know during your confirmation process.

Some of the tasks I need help with are in my home, are the PAs able to work there?
Our PAs will meet you anywhere to assist you with your task.

Can I give my PA large sums of money to complete my tasks?
We require that you notify the office whenever your errand involves cash-handling of more that N100,000.

Privacy is very important to me. Does Rent-a-PA have confidentiality agreements with its PAs?
Rent-a-PA takes the privacy of our clients very seriously and requires that our PAs sign a confidentiality agreement. And, we can provide a copy of the PA’s confidentiality agreement to a hiring client prior to the reservation date for their records upon request. In addition, to ensure that your specific privacy needs are covered we request that clients provide us with their own lawyer approved confidentiality agreements during our reservation confirmation period for review and signing by the PA.

I need help but I am a little uncomfortable with working with someone I don’t know. Why should I try Rent-a-PA?
We understand how you feel. Trusting someone you don’t know to help you can be an unnerving thought at first. Which is why we have a rigorous screening process for our candidates. Less than five percent of applicants actually make it through our process to become a PA with us because we only work with the best people (not the most people). We provide our clients support based on their needs and require our PAs to provide us a debrief at the end of each attachment. We have provided support to hundreds of happy clients to date. In addition, we are a fully registered and insured company.

My PA has made my life so much easier. Can I employ them directly for a full-time position?
Yes, YES and YES! We’re always sad to lose a great Personal Assistant, but happy to help them find a permanent position. If you’re interested in hiring one of our awesome PAs long-term, just let us know. Remember, we want to make your life easier. So, preventing you from hiring someone you have already worked with would be counterproductive. So, feel free to hire away provided you go through us!

I need an employee that specializes in a particular area. Does Rent-a-PA do candidate searches?

Can I give my PA a gift?
Yes, the money paid for our services goes mostly to overheads and running cost so we encourage our clients to tip their PAs if they feel they have rendered valuable service to them.
