Company description
Young Shall Grow Transport is a leading road transportation company in Nigeria and West Africa. We commenced operations in 1972, travelling from Enugu to Onitsha as a mini-bus transport operator. In 1973, we moved our operational base from Onitsha to Lagos and within 7 years expanded from a fleet of 2 locally assembled Mercedes buses to a fleet of over 40 buses.

Today, Young Shall Grow Transport has grown to be a household name in the road transport industry conveying over 10,000 passengers a day and 20 tons of cargo. With over 1,500 serviceable vehicles in our fleet, we transverse all regions of Nigeria as well as the West African coast, covering numerous routes with bus parks and terminals located across the 36 states of the country. Our routes include Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Kano,
Show more Sokoto, Maiduguri, Jos, Yola, Onitsha, Nnewi, Enugu, Owerri, Aba, Umuahia, Port-Harcourt, Uyo and Calabar. Our head office is located at Old Ojo Road, Maza-Maza, Lagos, Nigeria.

Understanding the need for hospitality and customer satisfaction, we built a relaxation point for passengers to rest after a long trip. This building called the YSG Lodge has over 40 rooms, and is designed to cater to the needs of our passengers.

Our explicit promise:- ‘Your destination is Guaranteed’ implies that the safety and welfare of our passengers is of topmost importance to the Young Shall Grow brand. The Managing Director’s passion for safety protocols, led to the introduction and subsequent enforcement of a asafe solution device (speed limiter) installed in all Young Shall Grow buses, ensuring that all our drivers adhere to the high way speed limit mandated by Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC). All our vehicles are fitted with tracking devices that make it possible to know the location of passengers and cargo at all times. We also introduced an automated ticketing system, with which customers can book and pay for tickets online. This system known as E-Ticketing makes it a lot more convenient and easier for our customers to buy and book their tickets whenever they want to travel.

As part of effort to manage the fleet of vehicles as well as workforce, the company has gone into partnership with leading fleet management solution providers such as Telematics Fleet tracking Solution-India, Bitasoft-India, Neosoft-India, Digiplus-Nigeria, Amcblast Solutions Limited- Nigeria among others.

Poor service/ Unsolicited charges
It's so glaring that this company is not supposed to be operating in Nigeria by now until restructuring is done and training as well as retraining of your staff is taking as Paramount if the reviews I've read are anything to go by.
This is the second time am having bad experiences with this firm. The first time I waybilled a package from Lagos to Nasarawa, it took God's intervention for me to get as many unpleasant reasons were given as to the reasons why it has to take weeks for the package to arrive, something that shouldn't take more than two days.
More worrisome is the stupid attitude of staff. You can imagine one employee beeping me early in the morning expecting me call him back because he wanted to tell me my good has finally arrived. I had to call him and asked why he couldn't call when I had already paid the charges they asked me to pay. I was shocked when he asked me to bring another #500 along when coming to retrieve my package. I told him l had paid the necessary fee but he authoritatively told me anyone who intends to collect a package from him must part with that amount before he can release it. Before I knew what was happening, he disengaged the call, that l did by myself. He was so rude and annoying.
I think you should close shop seriously.

Terrible Service
The Young shall grow is the worst Transportation/Logistics company. Very unreliable.... I’m yet to receive my Traditional marriage dress that was sent via them...... I have called and callled, the driver isn’t picking up. Called the Maraba Branch Manager Mr Levi severally(30times) before he finally picked up and bluntly told me that’s not His Business and I shouldn’t Disturb Him; that I should keep calling the driver. Today is my Trad and I have no Outfit to wear...... I’m Highly Disappointed

Worst Transport service ever, shame!!!!
An accessory for my car was sent to me from Lagos to Uyo and for a week now, I am yet to get the delivery. Something worth 200k!

They are full of stories! First they said the vehicle broke down at Ore and they had to swap it for another... Next, they said the swapped vehicle broke down at Umuahia.

These guys are irritating! Their so called customer service guys are RUDENESS personified. It's a shame!

This is one reasons businesses in Nigeria don't go trans-generational.

I won't recommend this transport line even to my enemy. Avoid them at all cost.

So Sad
I had a bitter experience this season, I gave 3 items to one of your drivers named MC Abia on the 16th of December, from Mararaba terminal in Nasarawa to take to Port Harcourt, he brought 2 items to PH and steal the remaining, a full bag of yam with onions, each time I called him he will scold and bang his phone on me. Yesterday I was lucky to talked to one of your customer care executive that I got online, he promised that I should call him today and since 1pm I have been calling and my call is forwarded. Mehn it has been a bitter experience cos the items is meant for something very dear to the family. So sad.
