About the product
Our Pre-school classrooms are bright, warm and inviting. A caring and loving environment where, children develop social skills as they interact with each other. Even the youngest preschooler at Bricks Academy takes care of his/her own child-sized environment. We allow children to develop a meaningful degree of independence and self-discipline. This sets a pattern for a lifetime of good work habits and a sense of responsibility
Our Preschool is divided into 4 classes consisting:
- Head Start (1 year +)
- Pre - Kindergarten (2 years +)
- Kindergarten 1 (3 years +)
- Kindergarten 2 (4 years +)
To facilitate the prepared order of a Montessori classroom, we use Montessori materials as tools to stimulate the child into logical thoughts and discovery. The materials are arranged on low open shelves that are easily accessible and appealing to even the youngest child. The shelves are organized into curriculum areas consisting :
- Practical Life Exercises (everyday living skills)
- Sensorial Exercises
- Mathematics
- Language.
In the early years, lessons are introduced simply and concretely and are reintroduced several times over succeeding years at increasing levels of complexity.
