Our client is a fintech subsidiary who is looking to hire a dynamic and entrepreneurial executive to join their journey in revolutionising the fintech industry across Africa. They are an early-stage business focusing on innovative financial solutions and payment possibilities for businesses everywhere whose mission is to make financial services accessible to everyone.

The Manager of application development and enterprise system is responsible for leading the organization application development team and managing all enterprise systems.

The role is responsible for business process analysis, breaking down complex business processes into designs flows and prototypes that will enable development of live applications. Manages quality assurance, coding testing, and source code safe, project management and support for organization applications systems. Evaluates the potential and practicality of products in development and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position requires exercising independent judgment to perform the responsibilities described herein.

Job description

 Responsible to lead rapid application development team to the completion of design and development under short time lines

 Strives to build a team capable of supporting the business services of the organization

 Define standards, procedures and policies for application development that meets the company’s goals and business service as
may be directed by Group head of Technology.

 Responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all application development and
enterprise strategy activities of the business.

 Assists the group head of technology to manage all departmental budget.

 Manages all external vendor relationships and ensures effective service delivery system and customer satisfaction..

 Assists to effectively manage and coordinate departmental personnel in manner conducive to the achievement of company’s
corporate objectives and strategy.

 Research in new technologies and make recommend decisions and define documentation methodologies.

 Manages and support company’s enterprise systems like SharePoint platforms, email systems, active directory payroll and
finance applications.

 Establishes international best practice that would put the company business on a global level.

 Assists in the successful management of the needs of the Company's customers in order to meet the objectives of the
company's overall business plans and strategies.

 Define and manage the monthly and annual product development objectives in line sales revenue generated

 Keep up to date with recent technology market and industry trends, competitors, and leading strategies

 Contributes to maintenance of the department’s fiscal viability by meeting all product revenue targets

 Assist to maintain membership of key professional associations, attends conference and workshops, meetings etc, to keep
abreast with current information and developments in the company’s core business areas.

 Carry out other responsibilities as may be delegated by the Organization and Group head, Technology.
