VIRGIN ATLANTIC AIRWAYS LTD - Victoria Island

I've been on 4 Virgin Flights and my first one (Lagos - London) was good but it was annoying having to get up to change my seat into a bed and then get up to change it again. for other airlines, you just press a button whilst being in your seat, way too much hassle.

My second Virgin flight was London - Los Angeles and OH MY GOSH! My seat was incredibly dirty and they claimed it was chocolate, dirty seatbelt, dirty seat buttons, even the bedside of the seat was dirty and I was scared to touch anything and luckily the flight wasn't full so I got a new seat and to prevent me wasting my time switching it into a bed, I used my old seat as a bed and when I had to eat I used my new one as a seat.

My third flight on Virgin was London - Los Angeles and it was great service, but the windows don't close so it was hard to sleep with the lights from the plane wing flashing.

My fourth and most recent Virgin flight (which was yesterday) London - Lagos, it was okay but annoyed with the hassle of getting up to make the bed, I filled in the breakfast card which you hand in to tell them what you want (if you want) breakfast and there was bacon on the list, and it's then in the morning when I'm hungry that they tell me pork isn't allowed on the flight and I don't know why Yes there are Muslims from Nigeria but there are more Christians and in hotels in Dubai they serve pork and they could've informed us on the menu that there wouldn't be pork or remove the option from the breakfast checklist. My TV didn't work and also it was the size of my iPad mini, some airline economy TV's are larger so I swapped seats with my mum because she didn't want to watch TV.

Virgin is basically your average airline, nothing different from the rest. They claim that their entertainment system Vera is spectacular, it's really not. It's usually average or below average, and I haven't met anyone who has disagreed with me so far.
The cabin crew are polite, again your average cabin crew and the seats are a good price especially for their business class (Upper Class) which gets priority boarding, cool Clubhouse Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3 and special check-in and security. That's the only thing that makes it different from other airlines.

So from all of my experiences, that's why i rated it 3/5 stars.

Overall flight from NYC to heathrow was good. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, I foolishly left my laptop on my seat when I disembarked the aircraft. In transit area I remembered and immigration security called jetty area where aircraft still was and I was told they had retrieved an hp laptop and I could collect at gate for flight #651. However when I arrived they and inquired no one knew what I was talking about and denied knowing or ever having a laptop. Wow! Said they were sorry but unless I had insurance consider it lost. And I should check with lost baggage (which was closed then) and file a lost report but They had to focus on boarding flight. I could do so in Lagos. We arrived in Lagos at 5am and yes they airport staff were also sorry for my loss but there was nothing they could do.

A Quality services throughout your journey. A trial will definitely convince you.

Due to corona virus,I want to know if Virgin Atlantic plane will be available from Lagos to Heathrow on 29th March, 2020
